Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you’re all having a lovely time with your families. We’ve been having a lovely time for Buttercup’s first Christmas – swimming, laughing, overeating and catching up with family.
This was Boxing Day dessert – chocolate pecan pie. It was beautiful, but RobbieD reckons it wasn’t anything like a normal pecan pie. Because this just tasted like a brownie in a pie shell, which, let’s face it, is still extremely delicious, but not what you think of when you want pecan pie.Guess I’ll have to try and track down some corn syrup in Australia after all.
